Liz Donehue grew up in Seattle where she wanted to do more than sleep on her mom’s couch and watch Ghost Adventures after graduating with a degree in Creative Writing. She moved to Minneapolis in 2011 where she started honing her sharp and edgy humor at Acme Comedy Company and the Comedy Corner Underground. Less than a year into stand up, she was a finalist in Acme’s “Funniest Person in the Twin Cities” contest. She returned to Seattle in 2015 and created and currently “One Laugh at a Time,” a comedy show featuring sober comedians performing for sober audience members. Liz frequently travels around the Pacific Northwest talking about her experience as a female comedian in recovery.
